Begin Your P2P Process

2. Consultation with OPNAV PSO

Before kicking off formal P2P activities, organizations should consult with P2P support teams at OPNAV PSO, who have significant experience with P2P efforts to date, and have valuable lessons learned from multiple programs. Key points of this consultation include:

Finalize the problem space

Begin discussing the P2P objectives (a clear, straightforward articulation of what your organization wants to achieve)

Confirm the appropriate P2P governance approach (see step 1.5 on Understand Problem)

Educate AO on key P2P concepts and processes in preparation for the Driver Tree Workshop
